The following is a sample itinerary of
where you might dive during your holiday with us. We wish
to show you the very best diving but a number of factors
can determine where we visit. Weather, tides, how busy a
site is with other dive vessels all play a part in the
Cruise Director’s decision of which route the yacht takes.
The safety of all on board is paramount and we always do
our best in offering diving at alternate locations. The
Cruise Director is happy to listen to requests from guests
to visit or remain at certain sites and providing it is
possible and the schedule allows, then guest’s requests
are respected. |

Tubbataha and
More-13 nights- Puerto Princesa to Cebu, up to 41 Dives
including 8 night dives
● Day 1- Arrive Puerto Princesa
Meet a member of the Worldwide Dive and Sail crew at the
Moana Hotel Restaurant at 1 p.m., transfer to the port and
board the SY Philippine Siren. After boarding settle into
your cabin and assemble your equipment with help from our
friendly crew. The boat briefing is followed by dinner and
enjoy the rest of the evening at your leisure.
Depart for Tubbataha Reef
● Day 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6- Tubbataha Reef
Up to 19 dives at Tubbataha Reef, the sites consist of
vertical walls or near drop offs rising out of great
depths. The shallow reef tops are teeming with local reef
fish; in many places stingrays, spiny lobsters, immature
manta rays, turtles, leopard sharks and guitar sharks are
common. The angelfish, butterfly fish, rainbow runners,
moorish idols, fusiliers, jacks, snappers and sweetlips
follow you around. Large trevally, tuna and barracuda as
well as grey reef sharks and white tip reef sharks patrol
the reef. Giant manta rays and eagle rays fly overhead and
turtles and groupers large and small including Napoleon
wrasse pass by. This really is an amazing place and rated
by those who have been fortunate to dive it as one of the
world’s best. After the third dive on day six we head off
for a long journey to Apo Island.
● Day 7- Travelling to Apo Island
Travel to Apo Island and if you are lucky dolphins could
be seen swimming at the bow of the boat.
● Day 8, 9- Apo Island
Do up to 6 dives in the two days around Apo Island
considered by many to be the most successful marine
sanctuary in the Philippines. Coral growth has benefited
greatly from the conservation efforts and the vast number
of fish species is outstanding. Jacks, barracuda,
sweetlips, bumphead parrotfish and lots of turtles can be
seen. There is a clownfish city with hundreds of tomato
anemone fish living together.
Depart for Dumaguete
● Day 10- Dumaguete
We spend the day diving, up to 4 dives, with some smaller
critters. There are possible
sightings of frogfish, ornate ghost pipefish, mandarin
fish and many more.
Depart for Siguijor
● Day 11- South Cebu, Siquijor Island
Enjoy another great day diving where you will enjoy 3 day
dives and a night dive.
● Day 12- Panglao and Balicasag Island
Spend the whole day here, and up to 4 dives, as it offers
a variety of diving.
● Day 13- Cabilao Island
Enjoy up to 4 dives in the area which is home to some of
the best diving in the Philippines. The number of dives
you do is dependent on your onward flight arrangements. In
the evening enjoy a BBQ on the boat and start planning
your next adventure aboard the Siren Fleet.
● Day 14- Disembark Mactan
After breakfast say your farewells and disembark the SY
Philippine Siren. Depart at 10 a.m. |
